This page is for people who have said they’re interested in Atomic Ambition and want to understand exactly how it works, what’s involved, and whether it’s right for them.
Atomic Ambition will increase your impact, income, and influence, by getting you to make a clear, confident career decision.
It’s for people who are prepared to invest some time and money now to positively the impact the rest of their career.
What Atomic Ambition is (and isn’t)
Atomic Ambition is a structured decision-making programme for experienced professionals and leaders who want to make a significant career move.
Most people who join:
Have a strong track record
Are well-regarded and well-paid
But feel uncertain about their next move
They are often deciding between things like:
Pushing for a more senior role
Moving laterally to reset trajectory
Changing organisation, scope, or environment
Atomic Ambition helps you to arrive at a decision you trust.
This is not:
A motivational programme
A CV or interview course
A productivity system
Instead, it gives you a calm, proven process for making a decision you can stand behind, that will positively impact the rest of your career.
Who this programme is for
Atomic Ambition is designed for:
Senior professionals and leaders
Typically 10+ years into their career
Who want to make a considered, high-stakes career move
It is deliberately a small group, so the conversations are relevant, honest, and high quality.
How the programme works
Timing and format
Duration: 5 weeks
Live sessions: 1.5 hours per week
Format: Live on Zoom
Recordings: All sessions are recorded
The structure (what to expect)
Atomic Ambition is built around:
A small group of senior professionals
Weekly live sessions combining:
Clear input from me
Structured reflection from you
A strong emphasis on:
Clarity
Trade-offs
Decision-making
Custom AI tools designed to help you think things through between sessions
Ongoing access to the Atomic Ambition Coach GPT, which you can continue using for the rest of the year
This isn’t about filling your calendar or giving you lots to do.
It’s about moving you from uncertainty to a clear decision, using a calm, structured, and proven process.
One-to-one support
Alongside the group programme, we have two one-to-one calls to make sure you’re getting maximum value:
Onboarding call
To set context, priorities, and make sure you’re clear on how to use the programme well.Mid-point check-in
To sense-check your thinking, make sure you’re on track, and address anything that feels stuck or unclear.
These calls are short, focused, and practical.
The peer group
This is one of the most valuable parts of the programme.
You’ll be working alongside:
Experienced professionals at a similar level
People who understand the stakes
People who are thinking seriously about their next move
There are no juniors, and no observers.
You will be the only person from your current company.
Confidentiality and trust are non-negotiable.

What we cover (week by week)
Week 1 – Resetting the question
We slow everything down and get precise about the decision you are actually trying to make.
Most people realise they’ve been wrestling with the wrong question.
Week 2 – Energy, strengths, and fit
You analyse what genuinely energises and drains you, using your real work history as data.
This removes a lot of noise and false logic.
Week 3 – Options and trade-offs
You explore credible corporate paths properly, without defaulting to what feels safe or expected.
We surface the real trade-offs between status, money, energy, and fulfilment.
Week 4 – Pressure-testing your direction
You test your emerging direction against impact, income, influence, time horizon, and regret.
This is where confidence is built.
Week 5 – From clarity to commitment
You leave with a clear decision and a practical view of what the next 6–12 months need to look like.
Time commitment
Most people spend:
90 minutes in the live session each week
Around 30–60 minutes reflecting or using the AI tools
This is designed to fit around a demanding senior role.
What happens when you buy
Once you join Atomic Ambition, everything is designed to feel clear and settled.
Immediately after purchase:
You’ll receive a welcome email confirming your place
You’ll be sent calendar invites for all five live sessions
You’ll receive the Atomic Ambition Starter Kit
Next steps (before we begin):
You’ll book a short 15-minute onboarding call with me
You’ll complete a quick values and strengths assessment
You’ll get set up for the AI tools
This preparation is light and focused. It usually takes around 30 minutes in total.
During the programme:
You’ll attend live sessions each week (or watch the recording if needed)
You’ll use the workbook and AI tools to think things through between sessions
We’ll have a mid-point one-to-one check-in to make sure you’re on track
By the end:
You’ll have made a clear, confident career decision
You’ll understand the trade-offs you’re making and why
You’ll leave with clarity on what the next 6–12 months need to look like
You’ll continue to have access to the Atomic Ambition Coach GPT for the rest of the year
You’ll feel great!
Nothing about this is rushed or overwhelming.
The aim is simple: to move you from uncertainty to a decision you trust.
am i the right guide for you?
I spent 22 years at KPMG, one of the world's largest professional services firms. I joined as a graduate and stayed long enough to see the system from almost every angle, including seven years as a partner.
Alongside my client work, I held senior internal leadership roles. I was COO across multiple departments and later Head of People, responsible for around 1,800 people. That meant sitting in the middle of some very real decisions about careers, performance, promotion, burnout, ambition, and risk.
During that time, I also had to make my own calls about whether to stay or leave. Not once, but repeatedly as my career progressed. Each time the stakes got higher, the trade-offs became more complex, and the cost of getting it wrong increased.
In 2022, I made the decision to leave and start my own executive coaching and speaking business. In that business I work with senior leaders and teams at organisations like HSBC, M&G, and Bupa, and other large, complex businesses where the pressure is real and the margin for error is small.
In my work with those companies, I noticed a similar pattern: Highly capable, successful people who were doing well, but wanted more happiness and fulfilment from their work. And at the same time, they felt more cautious than ever because they were older, more senior, and had more to lose.
That’s why I created Atomic Ambition in 2024.
It’s designed specifically for people who are no longer early in their careers, who don’t want reckless change, but also don’t want to drift through the next decade playing it safe and then regretting not having done something else.
